ShredCorp was formed in February of 2006 by its three founding members. Each member brought to ShredCorp over 12 years of professional experience in executive level corporate positions in multi-million dollar companies. Their broad and complementary experiences in Management, Information Technology, Sales and Marketing, and Business Leadership has provided a strong basis for ShredCorp's steady growth. ShredCorp, a member of the National Association of Information Destruction (NAID), is committed to providing its customers with the highest level of security, customer service, and reliability. ShredCorp's equipment is at the leading edge of the industry and continues to invest in new technologies. ShredCorp has served as an information source to several industry partners to improve processes, refined equipment, and develop technology innovations. ShredCorp's recent growth is a testament to their ability to deliver outstanding service to their customers at an effective, cost- conscience price. 2006 ShredCorp acquires its first Mobile Document Shredding truck (pictured on the right). ShredCorp enters into its first long term contract with a strategic customer. 2007 ShredCorp shreds and recycles 1.2 Million pounds of paper. ShredCorp adds 500 customers, services 6,000 security cabinets, and destroys 15,000 boxes of files. ShredCorp opens its Record Storage Center in Troy, MI ShredCorp performs six community shredding events in the Metro Detroit area. 2008 ShredCorp adds two more Mobile Document Shredding trucks to its fleet - one of which is the fastest shredding truck in the world. ShredCorp shreds and recycles 1.5 Million pounds of paper for the year. ShredCorp crosses the 900 customer mark. ShredCorp becomes a bronze member of the Detroit Regional Chamber. ShredCorp performs more than 15 community paper shredding events in the Metro Detroit area. 2009 ShredCorp has introduced MetroArchives, its sister company that will focus on Records Management and Document Imaging services. MetroArchives currently manages over 10,000 file boxes for various medical, legal, and general business clients. Daily delivery and pickup options provide a cost effective solution to client's records management needs. ShredCorp shreds and recycles 3.1 Million pounds of paper for the year. 2010 In May 2010, ShredCorp moves to it's new home in Madison Heights, MI. The new facility and equipment purchased allows ShredCorp to bring it's recycling operations in-house to better control the "Chain of Custody" of clients confidential information. The new location also provide MetroArchives with over 12,000 square feet to store file boxes and perform records management services.
